The British-Nigerian fashion brand presented the NABA Lifestyle Collection 2025 during Sunderland’s BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend celebrations.

In May 2026, NABA Clothing brought fashion, culture and contemporary identity to Sunderland Stages, presenting the NABA Lifestyle Collection 2025 during the weekend of BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

The showcase placed NABA within one of Sunderland’s most exciting cultural moments, as music lovers, creatives and visitors gathered across the city. For the brand, it was an opportunity to introduce its evolving design language to a wider UK audience and demonstrate how fashion can connect people across cultures and lifestyles.

A Collection Designed Without Boundaries

The NABA Lifestyle Collection 2025 was created for the modern global citizen. It brings together corporate precision, cultural pride and contemporary streetwear through a range of hoodies, T-shirts, tailored garments and traditionally inspired pieces.

Each look reflects the different environments people move through—from professional spaces and social settings to cultural celebrations and everyday life. Rather than separating these identities, the collection brings them together through one adaptable and confident approach to style.

Presented on the Sunderland Stages runway, the collection explored how professionalism, heritage and self-expression can exist within the same wardrobe. Bold colours, relaxed silhouettes and carefully considered details gave each look its own character while maintaining the collection’s shared visual identity.

Fashion, Music and Culture in Sunderland

Showing the collection during BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend celebrations created a natural connection between fashion and music. Both are powerful forms of self-expression, capable of communicating identity, emotion and belonging without explanation.

The energy surrounding the weekend gave the presentation a special atmosphere. It allowed NABA Clothing to engage with a diverse audience while contributing to Sunderland’s growing creative scene.

For NABA founder and designer Oluwadamilola Adeola, the showcase represented another important step in the brand’s journey from its Nigerian foundations to an expanding presence within the United Kingdom.

Continuing the NABA Journey

NABA Clothing is developing as a hybrid lifestyle brand rooted in identity while evolving globally. Its work combines African cultural influence with contemporary streetwear and refined tailoring, creating clothing for people who confidently move between different cultures, communities and occasions.

The Sunderland Stages presentation was more than a runway appearance. It was another opportunity to share the NABA story and show how fashion can preserve cultural roots while embracing new places and possibilities.

From Nigeria to Sunderland and beyond, NABA Clothing continues to create for those who carry their identity wherever they go.
